THINGS TO REMEMBER
Model comes with well-moistured skin, clean hair and polished nails of the same length. No arms/legs/facial hair. No white "bikini-straps" on shoulders. Take a good sleep and don't drink too much the evening before the shoot; make sure your eyes look good next day and don't ever plan a shoot the day after a party. Please report any health changes or sudden skin conditions prior to the shoot. Please re-schedule the shoot if you are not feeling well. I don't allow any infections whatsoever into my house. I reserve the right to send you back home without compensation if you don't comply with above requests. Thank you for your understanding.
NOT NEEDED: unhealthy skin, red skin, dry flaking skin, dandruff, bad nails, sick, tired or sad. I reserve the right to send you back home without compensation if you don't comply with above requests.
Model comes alone. Stylist comes alone. Someone can certainly drop you off or come in and say hello, but nobody is allowed to be present during the shoot.
The door goes open 15 minutes before scheduled time of our shoot. It means that if you come too early, you'll have to wait outside regardless what the weather is. I have no waiting room and no concierge, thank you for your understanding.
The shoot usually lasts from 10-00 until 17-00 unless agreed otherwise.
I (photographer) am not responsible if model or stylist are not showing up at the shoot. If stylist is not showing up, I reserve the right to cancel the shoot without any compensation to model. If model is not showing up, I reserve the right to cancel the shoot without any compensation to stylist. Please ask me for each other's email adresses, so you can get in touch with each other to make your own agreements.
Model or MUA, if you want to cancel the shoot, please send me an email at least 3 days in advance, or call me at least 1 day in advance. If you don't get email confirmation from me, plese do call and if I don't pick up, then leave a voicemail (my studio number is in signatures under my emails, and my mobile number you usually have as soon as we planned the shoot). Not showing up without notice can be quite damaging to your reputation.
IMAGE USAGE
Please note the Model Release which you'll sign during shoot, unless agreed otherwise. This Release allows me to sell your images either through my exclusive royalty-free agent iStockphoto.com, or with special rights-managed licenses to other parties. In both cases you don't get any compensation, unless agreed otherwise prior to the shoot.

You get all web-images with my watermark. Hi-Res images (when applicable) are only ment for your personal portfolio map, and under no circumstances can be reproduced for web or other usage.
iStockphoto Content License Agreement (paragraph 4) protects the rights of models against misuse of images. You understand that the photographer is NOT responsible for any illegal actions which might occur to your images. As soon as your image is anywhere on the Internet, it can be "stolen" and mis-used. You agree NOT to expect anything from me about your rights protection in such rare but upsetting cases. Some models have successfully received the monetary compensation, after hiring a good lawyer. If you are sensitive about usage of your images like stripclub ads, any other sexually tinted publications, any political position concerns, "medical problems" usage concerns, etc, please better consider coming as a client, so your images will not be sold to anyone but you.
Retouching on some images may not be useful for your portfolio, due to severe distortions. If you have strict requirements about retouching or other things, you'd better schedule a paid shoot as a client.
In case I decide to make artwork with your image, which is not going to be uploaded to my stock-agency, you will only get a heavily watermarked web-image of it. You can later always order a print under my fine-art print prices. Such print will be executed on desired material, in desired format, and will have my personal signature on it.
Model and stylist get the minimum of 5 retouched images within 2 weeks (usually much sooner). The rest of images will be possibly coming later, or maybe not, upon NO schedule. Model agrees NOT to email me with questions about new images. Model understands that retouching on request is only possible on assignment basis.

"Time For Print" without Model Release - free projects
This type of collaboration is meant for refreshing our portfolios and broadening our networks. I am currently interested in making hi-end beauty images (very rarely totals), with interesting make-up and hair ideas.
Model: fashion model with impressive experience, big internationally active agent(s) and exceptional features. As a photographer, I am interested in unusual types (think about Gemma Ward, Agyness) or baby-doll types (Doutzen, Lily Cole), or "classic top model" types (Gisele, Linda). Perfect bone structure, full lips, small nose, big "make-up" eyes, natural eyebrows (I do like "rich" eyebrows too). I love freckles :))
Make-up artist: impressive portfolio, good agent(s), and tons of creativity. I am NOT interested in copying other people's work. I need your own progressive ideas with possibility of publishing in a good magazine. Both make-up skills and hairstyling skills should be present. I like working with both makeup and coiffure, I also like working on natural (think Vichy ads) types of beauty: Spa or plastic surgery are good examples.
Stylist: impressive portfolio, good agent(s), and tons of creativity. I am interested in high-fashion styling (mostly upper body). I do like romantic, gothic, victorian or other historical tints in styling. I don't favor "futuristic" stuff, unless it is very tastefully done. Huge jewelry and accessories are very welcome. Leather, expensive lace and lingerie, huge shawls and draped pieces of "rich" fabric etc, are welcome. I hope you get the idea. I ALWAYS need to see stuff first in my email, before making decision about planning shoot.
You get 3 (three) A4 prints for free. More prints are always available upon request; I can upload them to online printing service of your choice, or have them printed and delivered to your door, at your own costs. You get all retouched images in web-format with my watermark. You do not get any hi-res images (unless agreed otherwise).

Paid jobs for models
This type of collaboration is possible with full-time or part-time professional models (fashion, specials, beauty, glamour, sport, pregnant, men, women or children). Any age.
Who is eligible?
- freelance models represented by good agents in NL and/or abroad
- models with large portfolio and good publications, including: various expressions, lifestyle images (eating, reading, shopping, business or other activities), beauty closeups, bikini, lingerie or sportswear, hands.
Please do not send images in email. Send only the link to your website and links to all of your agencies where I can see your profiles, images and info. Please put your email subject as "Model job application".
Compensation depends on type and duration of a shoot, and includes euros (minimum EUR150 + vat) as well as images from the shoot (minimum 5 but usually much more). Compensation is paid only after receiving your properly written invoice. You need to have a vat number.
